A “Training for Trainers” program was held on 29th August at Galvila Ecological Park premises with the participation of the identified representatives of the four selected Divisional Secretariats. Lectures were conducted by Mr. M.G.Eranda Gamage, the Assistant Director regional wildlife office in Puttalam, Dr Deepani Jayantha, Executive Director of CEJ and the Legal officer of CEJ. The program composed of a video presentation on elephants, a question and answers session and a general discussion, focused on showing how these could lead to some positive action in the future.
