CEJ conduct a three day training residential program for government officers on Environmental Impact Assessment Process in Sri Lanka
Centre for environmental justice has been continuously working on promoting and awareness raising on Environmental Impact Assessment Process in Sri Lanka. A three day training residential program was organized as another step of this program. Training was held at Chinthana Training Center, Nainamadama 5 –7 th February 2019. EHRDs project
We successfully completed the last activity of EHRDs project work and it is pleasure to see the outcomes and impact of the whole activities which we have done so far. Programme on Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Law, and Current Environmental Issues for government officers in Matale district
Centre for environmental justice according to the request made by District Secretary of Matale, conducted training on Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Law, and sustainable development for government officers in Matale district. This was a two day program and held at Divisional Secretariat office of Matale. Around 50 participants including divisional secretaries of several DS divisions
3 Day residential training on environmental impact assessment
Centre for environmental justice organised a EIA Training for government officers of the project approving agencies, beginners, CSO representatives etc. This training was held at chinthana training centre, nainamadama from 31 st July to 2nd August .lectures were conducted by experts on identifying different types impacts, strategic environmental assessment , identifying alternatives for Development projects.
