National Action Plan for the Mitigation of Human-Elephant Conflict in SRI LANKA -December 2020

Human-elephant conflict is very widespread in Sri Lanka. It is currently reported from over half the country and almost the entire dry zone. On the direction of His Excellency the President, the Presidential Committee to Prepare a National Action Plan for Human Elephant Conflict Mitigation was appointed by the Secretary to the President on the 22nd of July 2020. This Action Plan proposes activities providing results in the short, medium and long term.
