Goal: Enrichment, conservation, and protection of ecosystems and biodiversity

CEJ will raise awareness about biodiversity and ecosystems among government-selected stakeholders; promote awareness of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and chemicals of concern, such as through a school of sustainability; address the issue of false solutions related to energy and biodiversity; contribute to national-level waste management efforts; advocate for effective chemical governance; support natural resource and environmental impact governance, including efforts related to Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and forest management plans; work towards the mitigation of water, soil, and air pollution and engage in biodiversity conservation initiatives.

Plans to:

• Improve knowledge on environmental literacy / citizen science
• Promote a shift in attitudes and behaviors
• Encourage sustainable resource utilization
• Establish a suitable legal and policy framework
• Mobilize communities for biodiversity conservation.
