CEJ will disseminate awareness and understanding of SDGs, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), and safeguard policies to government officials and the general public; promote accountability mechanisms and monitoring, along with addressing complaints involving International Financial Institutions (IFI); lobby government officials and rally the public to oppose corporate initiatives that jeopardize both the economy and the environment; collaborate to generate collective strength in order to put an end to debt exploitation that impacts people and the planet and facilitate livelihood development to prevent harm to natural resources..

Economic activities/project undertaken under pressure during economic crisis period contribute to the sustainable development of the country
i. Influence the structure and systems to ensure present and future use of natural resources
ii. Households have livelihood opportunities during crisis period which do not harm the environment
