This Contempt of court matter bearing number COC/09/2023 is filed against Rishad Badiudeen who deliberately, intentionally and willfully failed to implement the order of the Court of Appeal, Sri Lanka in the judgment pronounced on 16.11.2023 in CA/WRT/291/2015 and the non – compliance of the orders passed by the Court of Appeal shakes the foundation of the judicial system and undermines the Rule of Law, Which all Citizens are bound to honor and protect.
